Point Reyes Station free chipper event run by FIRESafeMarin & funded by the Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority (MWPA) is set for Wednesday, Nov. 11. All PRS residents can register their pile at: www.chipperday.com  or call and register at 415 570-4376. When you call, leave your name, phone number & address so crews can be sure to pick your pile. There is no pile size limit!  This is special for PRS (the website says there's a limit but not for this event in PRS). More information on the attached flyer. Sooner you register, you'll be included before a waiting list. ... Please note if you join with a neighbor for one pile, you should register both addresses & explain which address will have the pile out front.  Also, if you have a road behind the house where it will be, ie, not out front, please explain, as crews will be looking for addresses. This really is "curbside;" crews can't walk across yards to reach the pile. Last, please do call the phone number with such additional information and any questions.  ~posted by Lynn, pointreyesdisastercouncil.org
