Volunteer opportunities re COVID-19

Center for Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership has a signup to eg, help pack perishable food at food bank warehouses, pick up/deliver meals to homebound older adults, deliver supplies to assisted living facilities–countywide: Volunteer.cvnl.org. Stay tuned for more as our local agencies may advise.

American Red Cross Home Fire Campaign, Smoke Alarms

If you can't afford to buy or unable to install smoke alarms, Red Cross will help. We did this about 5 years ago; it was quick & great. You contact them, set a date/time. They can also use volunteers to help. Call or email: 415-427-8000 or https://www.redcross.org/sound-the-alarm.html
