Whistlestop is offering calls from a high school student to folks 65 and older who are missing family & friends. Call 415-456-9062 to learn more or sign up. Great way to get a caring voice to someone feeling isolated. Talk to those not on computers, ask if they'd like this in addition to your caring calls. Also, Whistlestop realizes that Seniors can help high schoolers while they receive the call. The teens are trained in making these calls, and training is continous, but the life- and work-experience of a Senior to let them know how they're doing would be beneficial all-around.

From Marin HHS: Until May 3. Please go to pointreyesdisastercouncil.org/news for the order.
"Public Health orders are issued by the respective Health Officers of [each of the 7 Bay Area] jurisdictions. The Bay Area is fortunate to have a group of dedicated public health leaders working together to address the interconnectedness of our region. We have said an extension might be expected as we work together to slow the spread of the COVID-19 disease. Additional details about the updated order will be available when it is finalized in the next day or two. We will also be extending, strengthening, and clarifying the Public Health order to close parks. Unfortunately, even during a rainy weekend, residents and visitors congregated at popular recreational areas throughout Marin County." For latest info: https://coronavirus.marinhhs.org
