Since 1998, Frank and I have been volunteering at Canyon Manor, a locked facility attending to the needs of adults with chronic mental illnesses. Many of these residents’ family ties have been broken due to the chronic nature of their illnesses and the difficulties families have endured in coping with their relative’s mental illnesses.

Every Christmas, Canyon Manor provides a celebration, including gifts, paid for mainly by donations. Donations however, are scarce and, given the facility houses 89 patients, what little they receive is stretched quite thin in order to provide something for each patient.

If you cannot attend, or just want to come watch the fun, you may still make a donation. We ask for a minimum donation of $25.00 per couple.

100% of your donation will go directly to the purchase of Christmas gifts for the patients
Your donation is 100% tax deductible
Through Marin Link, our non-profit fiscal sponsor, Federal Tax I.D. #20-0879422.

Please make checks payable to:
Canyon Christmas Gift Fund

If you cannot attend, you may mail your check to:
