Date:
Saturday, July 9, 2016 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Event Description:

ACR Nature Connection: An Evening of Storytelling with Ane Carla Rovetta

Ane Carla Rovetta is not only a Master Storyteller, she is also an illustrator who draws the animals in a story in front of her audiences! Come sit, surrounded by her art exhibition that is currently on view at the Display Hall in Picher Canyon and listen to her tales of the OLD Days. Then, watch, as she creates more lively animal images with vivid strokes of chalks that she makes. You will be transported to the magical time when the animals could speak.

Suitable for ages 5 years and older. Desserts and hot beverages will be served after the performance.

What else can I do when I visit the Martin Griffin Preserve?

There are picnic areas for lunch, hiking opportunities, trained naturalists available to answer questions, and 1,000 acres of redwood forests, fresh water ecosystems, coastal scrub, and mixed evergreen forests.
