ACR Nature Connection: Weaving Earth Day
Join members of the Weaving Earth team for a day of deep nature connection at the Martin Griffin Preserve. Engaging with the wonders of the wild landscape, the day is designed to build relationship to nature, remember our place in the web of life and practice mentoring techniques to support a nature-connection community. This event will be hands-on and interactive and is family friendly.
Guided by the inherent interrelationship of all life, the Weaving Earth Center for Relational Education (WE) fosters diverse leadership to support the holistic health of people, communities and the planet upon which we all depend. WE’s curriculum weaves together deep nature connection, community resilience, permaculture, and social justice. These nature-based programs and services are designed to train resilient, transformational leaders to think, feel, act and design from a foundation rooted in holistic interrelationship. Our programs serve adult, teen, youth and families. Inspired by contemporary insights, and grounded in ancestral wisdom, we endeavor to draw out the vital contributions we each have to make to the great work before us.
Cancellation and refund policy: Fees for public programs help fund the programs and preserves of ACR, a non-profit organization. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for programs cancelled by program attendees. If this event is cancelled by ACR due to heavy rain, high winds or any other reason, we will notify you by email by 8:00 p.m. the night before. A full refund, including all Eventbrite fees, will be credited back to you within 5 business days, depending on your bank. Light rain does not cancel.
ACR offers a limited number of fee waivers upon request. Please email support@egret.org and reference the event title and date in your request for a fee waiver.
