African-style Drum Class, Sundays @ 7p.m. with Joyce K.
Please call for exact schedule! 663-9176. Gentle drumming, encouraging light touch and beautifully unified sound with your self and others on your hand drum. Respectful teaching of traditional Senegalese rhythms. Instructor studied for six years with drum masters Ibrahima Camara (of Senegal) in Boston and Y'mbaye N'Diaye of the National Ballet of Senegal in Dakar, Senegal. Class members are both new to drumming and long-time students of Joyce Kouffman.
12 classes on Sundays, 7p.m. Now through May 26, 2013.
Pay what you can - $15-$30 per class.
