Alex Conde Conde is a sensitive solo pianist with his interpretations of “Pannonica” and “Round Midnight,” embellishing the timeless melodies and applying his Spanish rhythmic influences into his solo playing. - Spill Magazine. Alex has studied and collaborated with jazz stars such as George Garzone, Danilo Pérez, Dave Santoro, and Grammy Award-winners Joe Lovano, Maria Schneider, Wayne Shorter, and Esperanza Spalding. Son of the legendary singer Alejandro Conde, (National Prize for the Spanish song 1981 and two gold records) Alex began collaborating with flamenco companies in the United States and Canada such as Theater Flamenco of San Francisco and the prestigious Aspen Santa Fe Ballet where he collaborated with other world-class flamenco artists leading him to a nomination for the “Izzie (Isadora Duncan Dance) Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Text in 2011”. Alex has worked with Grammy jazz artists such as Jamey Haddad (Paul Simon), John Patitucci (Chick Corea), among others.

John Santos (Percussion) | Seven-time Grammy-nominated percussionist, US Artists Fontanals Fellow, and 2013-2014 SFJAZZ Resident Artistic Director, John Santos, is one of the foremost exponents of Afro-Latin music in the world today.

Bassist Jeff Chambers masterfully breaks the conventionally accepted boundaries of his instrument and forges new melodic possibilities. According to San Francisco Chronicle music critic Phil Elwood, "Jeff Chambers makes playing upright bass look and sound so easy with his rhythmic sense and melodic vocabulary". Chambers is known for his impeccable timing, dynamic rhythms, and improvisational dexterity.

Colin Douglas | Grammy-nominated drummer/percussionist/educator Colin Douglas was born in New York City into a musical family. As the son of a music producer, Colin has performed and recorded with a diverse group of musicians ranging from Latin acts such as Jesus Diaz y su Qba, Ray Obiedo, and the Wayne Wallace Latin Jazz Quintet, with whom Mr. Douglas received a grammy nomination in 2013, to R&B and rock acts such as Donna Summer and Slash.
