Autumn Birds of Bolinas Lagoon: Guided Hikes, Kids' Activities and Open Preserve at Martin Griffin Preserve
For the first time, Martin Griffin Preserve is open in the fall for three Saturdays in October! Visit our picnic areas, bird hide, Curiosity Room, and bookstore, enjoy a hike on our 8+ miles of trails, scoop up newts in the ponds or look at shorebirds on Bolinas Lagoon through our scopes with our volunteer Nature Guides, and join us for guided hikes with local experts. We'll have kids' autumn activities every Saturday!
October 27: Autumn Birds of Bolinas Lagoon
From 10:00am to 12:30pm, ACR's new Director of Conservation Science Nils Warnock and volunteer Nature Guides welcome back the waterbirds and shorebirds on Bolinas Lagoon! Look through scopes and binoculars and learn about the birds' incredible journeys to Bolinas.
