Beekeeping - INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT (Field Session)

Date:
Saturday, July 27, 2019 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
Event Description:

Do you know how to spot signs of trouble with ants, yellow-jackets,robber bees, wax moths, foulbrood, mites and beetles? Inspecting for pest problems can be more challenging than the simple spring inspections most of us are used to. This important field class is a must for new and experienced beekeepers alike. What we learn from summer and fall inspections can be critical in assessing our hives health and understanding their needs. This unique class will give you the opportunity to see through the experienced eyes of Bonnie and Gary and learn from their long years of dealing with the complex variety of pests and diseases which can threaten your bees.
