Bird's Eye / Interior View

Date:
Saturday, May 21, 2016 - 10:30am
Location:
Event Description:
Meet in front of the church at 10:30am for a daylong investigation of place - both in the natural landscape and inside ourselves.  We will improvise outside at the Headwaters of Tomales Bay in the Giacomini Wetlands in the morning, break for lunch, and then head inside the church at the Pt. Reyes Dance Palace for the afternoon.

The day is dedicated for female identified folks to gather and improvise together. Kristen and Rosemary will be bringing seeds and scores from subtle energetic practices, Somatic Experiencing®, mindfulness, and contact improvisation to initiate deepened states of presence. There will be time woven throughout for improvising through movement as well as through writing and drawing. This container is designed to support a strong internal witness in ourselves and for each other, inviting a shaping of the unknown as the unknown shapes us.
