To honor and celebrate the life of the late Angeles Arrien, interfaith minister Elizabeth River leads a book study based on Arrien’s book, The Second Half of Life: Opening the Eight Gates of Wisdom. The book has been called “a wise, unique, and beautifully written guidebook for those who want to live every day of their lives. A book for everyone who plans to grow old” (Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D.). Point Reyes Books is offering Arrien’s book at 20% off to participants. Open to all interested in sharing their journey of aging with a small, caring community of others on the same path. A section of the book will be covered in each class, finishing with a plan—both personal and as a group—for how to live in a way that is more nurturing, more meaningful, and includes more joy.
