CANCELED - Holiday Wreath Making and Habitat Restoration

Date:
Saturday, November 10, 2018 - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Event Description:

Habitat Restoration & Holiday Wreath Making Workshop

Saturday November 10, 10am to 2pm (CANCELED DUE TO AIR QUALITY CONCERNS)

Oak woodland and grassland habitat are threatened by outcompeting Douglas-fir trees. Our staff and volunteers regularly remove these rapid spreaders. Join us for a morning of habitat restoration followed by an afternoon of crafting with the beautiful and pleasant smelling evergreen branches. Go home with holiday wreaths and decorations for your home.

This event is FREE but registration is required. For more information and directions to the meeting location, please RSVP at volunteerprogram@marinwater.org or by calling (415) 945-1128. All tools and supplies are provided. The whole family is welcome!

As with all events please bring a water bottle, closed toe shoes and clothes for variable weather. We will provide tools, snacks and water!
