Collage & Encaustic Painting with Heather Peters (Pratt)

Event Description: 

Join Heather Peters for a weekend of Collage and Encaustic Painting in beautiful Point Reyes. You'll spend the two days working on composition, narrative, and wax encaustic finishing techniques. Please bring collage elements, though the wooden panels and wax will be provided.

Class $250 for both days, additional materials fee $20 paid to the instructor on the day of class

Heather Peters (Pratt) is an artist and writer inspired by the impact that nature has on stories. She illustrates both the details of the natural world and her own stories. She is a MFA candidate in Book Arts at Mills College, and is responsible for paper-making at Magnolia Editions.

INK.PAPER.PLATE is printmaking studio and arts workshop specializing in letterpress, woodcut, linocut, relief block, etching, monotype, screenprinting and bookarts. The retail workshop showcases artist-made goods, sells art supplies,  offers personalized art instruction for all levels of artists and hosts community social gatherings.
