Community Disaster Drill, May 10

Date:
Thursday, May 10, 2018 - 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Event Description:

Inverness & Point Reyes Disaster Councils are sponsoring a first-ever community drill, May 10, 6:30-9:30 pm, in the Point Reyes Station firehouse area, 4th & B Streets. Roy Pitts, Inverness VFD, is planning this, so please come on down and help make it a success. All community members (Marshall, Point Reyes Station, Olema, Inverness Park, Inverness) are invited to participate. There will be stations for various drill components.

You do not have to be a current disaster council volunteer or a CERT to participate. In fact, we hope you will be there to help make it realistic. Local residents who are available for general shelter help are especially asked to join in at the firehouse area. (Current disaster council area coordinators, neighborhood liaisons, and CERTs are receiving separate information.)

Thank you, Lynn Axelrod, PRDC, pointreyesdisastercouncil.org; Jairemarie Pomo, IDC Coordinator
