CONTEMPLATIVE CHRISTIAN PRACTICE I: EXPERIENCE

Silent meditation is among the most countercultural practices in which we can engage. This first in the series of four workshops will focus on the basics of contemplative prayer. We will learn about posture, breath, working with distractions, and the body-mind-spirit connection in prayer. We will draw on the wisdom of both ancient and modern contemplatives in pursuit of the art of prayerful living.

EVERY TUESDAY

6:30-8:30 PM

SEPTEMBER 26 THROUGH OCTOBER 24

$25 per session or $100 for five paid in advance.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please see Fr. Vincent privately to arrange a lower payment option or longer payment period as necessary.

St. Columba's is at 12835 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Inverness.
