Creative Facilitation Training

Spark potential in youth and adults by unleashing creativity! A powerful training series for anyone who leads groups: youth workers, teachers, facilitators, community and business leaders, artists, organizers, YOU. (No arts experience required.)

Thousands of practitioners on 5 continents are using the Creative Empowerment Model in their work. CF1 provides a framework for integrating creative practices into all aspects of your facilitation. You'll learn strategies for developing a safe space that allows people to take creative risks, and you’ll receive a tool box of easy-to-lead activities you can use the very next day to bring depth and heart to your programs. You can use what you learn in CF1 in any program regardless of the content, format, or audience.

The Facilitators:
Samara Atkins has been well-versed in hip hop for the last 15 years gaining training and learning from hip hop heavyweights around the country includeing Kory "Kato" Watkins (Housin' Authority), Carla Service (Dance-A-Vision), Corey Action & Teela Shine (New Style Motherlode), Capitol Movement (LUAM) and Diane Naa Dodua Green (Saint Mary's Dance Ensemble). She has picked up influences from the Bay, Atlanta, DC, Philly, and New York making a style that is bringin' a little bit of everything to the table. Samara choreographs for local artists and currently teaches in the OUSD through Destiny Arts Center. She has danced for LUAM, Busta Rhymes, Nelly Furtado, and Rhianna. Samara is the Artistic Director of Mix'd Ingrdnts, an all female performance collective in Oakland that exists to empower women to express themselves.

Adam Rosendahl is a creative facilitator, event producer, and DJ based in Oakland, CA. In 2012 he founded LATE NITE ART, LLC. Since then, he’s been on a creative rampage: leading over 100+ LNA events in 6 countries, with over 5,000 participants. From federal probation officers and corporate executives to social entrepreneurs and university students, Adam has a knack for lighting the creative spark in people. He specializes in using the arts to positively shift corporate culture, enhance leadership capacity, and make learning more fun. He firmly believes that engaging the imagination is the key to changing our culture.
