Event Description:
Join us for a celebratory Day of the Dead procession from Gallery Route One to the Dance Palace.

Featuring Aztec Dancers & Drummers, the Common Voice Choir, processional Day of the Dead art and your friends and neighbors in their best skeleton outfits.

The procession meets at 4:30 at Gallery Route One and begins at 4:45 PM.

A ceremony featuring Aztec Dancers, Common Voice Choir, Blessing of the Altar, and other surprises at the community altar created specially for the event by local artist Ernesto Sanchez.

Community members are encouraged to bring flowers,  photographs, and other small mementos of loved ones to carry in the procession then be placed on the altar.

The altar will be installed in the Dance Palace's Main Hall starting in mid-October and the community is welcome to visit and add to it while the hall is not in use.

In addition, there will be Mexican food and drink for purchase.

During the month of October workshops in making paper flowers, paper Mache skeletons and other Day of the Dead
