For an inspiring evening of stories and songs that will uplift your spirit and bring you back to thinking about what is important in your life! Nimo Patel, a soulful hip hop musician, humanitarian and ambassador of love and peace will be sharing songs and stories from his recently completed labor-of-love album “Empty Hands” (Which is a gift to all of you at www.EmptyHandsMusic.org) deeply rooted in values dear to us all: compassion, gratitude, and universal love. We are blessed to have this humble tour and pilgrimage stop through Pt. Reyes Station, before it continues on across the United States, South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

BACKGROUND ON NIMO AND EMPTY HANDS MUSIC:
From an Ivy League education to Wall street to fame and fortune as a MTV Rap star, Nimo has met success in many ways. But, what happens when at the pinnacle of a successful career, you are haunted by an unshakeable sense of emptiness? For Nimo, in his mid-twenties, he abandoned the limelight. An inner voice nudged him to radically simplify his life and find his purpose in service to others. Moving to India, he dedicated himself to the children in slums.
After a 7-year musical hiatus -- 5 of which were spent living with and learning from slum communities -- something inside nudged him to write music again. But, this time, in a different spirit. One that would reflect the heart of humanity. Over the past year, Nimo has released a labor-of-love album called “Empty Hands”, co-produced 5 music videos on kindness, gratitude and universal love, and embarked on a music pilgrimage -- all in the spirit of finding, practicing, and sharing small acts with great love.
