Event Description:

The Point Reyes Figure Drawing Group starts up again in March and will run for 38 weeks until Thanksgiving.

Join us for figure drawing and monotype from a live model. Brush up on your drawing skills or explore new techniques. Beginner or advanced, everyone is welcome. We work in twenty-minute sets and the length of the pose varies from one minute to twenty minutes. The focus of these drawing sessions is on gesture and short poses of the nude and clothed figure. The monthly workshop fee helps us secure great models from the Bay Area Models’ Guild.

Bring your own Media. The studio is equipped with tables, easels, stools, drawing boards, monotype plates, ink, and an etching press. You're welcome to come sketch, paint or carve in the studio. There are affordable art supplies available for sale in the shop. Bring a snack or beverage to share if you like.

Wednesdays. 3-6pm from March to November.

Drop-in $35
5 sessions for $150
10 sessions for $300
