Free Garden Class Saturday, April 1st, 1-3 p.m.
Our free Saturday garden class series continues on Saturday, April 1st, from 1-3 p.m. Practical IPM for the Home Gardener with local gardener, Michael Cavette. Participants learn what integrated pest management is (and is not) and how to develop an IPM plan for their garden. We discuss the benefits and potential challenges of various approaches, including beneficial, predatory insects and microbes. We then explore a number of techniques and remedies made from simple ingredients.
Also, a wide variety of vegetable starts are now available in the nursery!
