FREE Toxic Away Day: Mesa Park, Bolinas
On Saturday, November 11, Marin County residents will be able to bring their household hazardous waste (HHW) to the Bolinas Toxic Away Day for free disposal. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mesa Park next to the Bolinas Fire Station at 100 Mesa Road in Bolinas.
Appointments are required for residents who wish to participate in the event. Examples of HHW that will be collected include old computer monitors, household batteries, paints, stains, thinners, fertilizers, pesticides, adhesives, gas, motor oil, antifreeze, pool chemicals, and household cleaners. No commercial waste will be accepted.
Residents can bring a total of 15 gallons of liquid waste or 125 pounds of dry waste.
