FUNKY APRIL! KWMR Spring Pledge Drive

Date:
Wednesday, April 22, 2015 - 8:00am to Tuesday, April 28, 2015 - 10:00pm
Event Description:

KWMR – community radio for West Marin, is bustin’ a move this month! Our Spring Pledge Drive is strutting over the airwaves for 7 danceable days: April 22 – 28.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 of operating funds that support our three FM frequencies - 90.5 Point Reyes Station, 89.9 Bolinas, and 92.3 San Geronimo Valley. You’ll be hearing our 90+ volunteer radio hosts, our hard-working staff and even some enthusiastic community supporters on the air, asking you to chip in.

Before you turn your dial over to canned commercial radio, remember: KWMR is a vital source of West Marin emergency information, as well as an open platform for public opinion, live and local music, and cultural discourse. We are the real deal in a world of corporate buyouts – and we need your support each year to keep it that way.

Won’t you help? Get ready to pick up your phone and call our pledge hotline, come in to the station and support us in-person, join the illustrious KWMR Calendar Club, or simply go to www.kwmr.org and make a quick donation.

Every bit keeps us truckin’ along. Thank you for doing your part -- here’s to independent radio, KWMR!
