Afton Love

Working with varying materials such as graphite, beeswax, plaster and resin, Afton Love explores geographic time in relation to human life. Her large-scale drawings invite the viewer into an experience of landscape and a questioning of our place within it.

Brian Dean: A Land Between focuses on the history of a changing landscape around the San Francisco Bay Area through photographs of the edge lands along the Bay Trail.

Dorothy Nissen’s installation is comprised of found photos and the worrisome artifacts created by Dora P. (who is based on Freud’s patient Dora). Also featured is a series of paintings based on the real artist’s dreams.
