Igor Sazevich: Time in My Art

Wondering about his upcoming show while at Toby’s Coffee stand, Igor Sazevich set his cup down and an article in the newspaper caught his eye. The word significance captured his attention. He looked up and asked himself, what is significant in my art? He considered all that he had done in the past and realized that it was time to address the times we all are living in. As he sipped his coffee, observations gleaned from the news formed images in his mind. With brush in hand, he decided to tackle what he was visualizing on canvas. This recent work appears in this show.

Peg Hunter: Confronting Borders

As part of GRO’s Social Justice series, photographer Peg Hunter explores the idea of borders. While borders can be literal walls, they can also be the countless ways that people are divided and pitted against one another.
