Over 6000 visiters have come to see the 2016 BOX SHOW™ and they seem to agree that this year’s boxes are truly amazing. The bidding has been spirited. Don’t miss out getting your favorite box! You can bid in person, bid by phone or bid by proxy. There are 150 artists, many who return to participate in THE BOX SHOW™ year after year!
For even more fun and excitement, come to Gallery Route One for the Closing Party at 2 PM followed by the Live Auction at 3PM! Last year there were some tense moments between bidders who stopped at nothing to get the box of their dreams.

“Unlimited creativity defines annual Gallery Route One show…..
Themes are whimsical, wacky, beautiful, strange, playful, poignant, thought-provoking and inspiring, and each has a personality all its own…….
At the end of the show, a closing party is thrown, and final bids for each box are made; the highest bidders take home the prizes, and proceeds support Gallery Route One’s exhibitions and community outreach programs….” excerpts from Pacific Sun Article by Lily O’Brien
The BOX SHOWtm 2016 is dedicated to Betty Woolfolk, founding member of GRO who co-created the Box Show with her husband, Nick Corcoran. She was a talented artist and a generous, fun-loving member of GRO and the West Marin Community. Betty passed away on June 29.
Several Box artists made boxes that are dedicated to Betty.
