The Grange Movement - Then and Now

Date:
Thursday, February 12, 2015 - 11:00am
Event Description:

An exihibit on the history and significance of the Grange Movement in the United States.  The populist movement that energized farmers to take back control of their lives in the face of powerful interests in the second half of the 19th Century.  Consider how young farmers today are facing the same challenges.  Open daily, more or less from 11am to 5pm in the Little Yellow House on the Town Commons in Point Reyes Station until March 12th.  Come in and leave your email address for further information and news.  Sponsored by the Greenhorns, people determined to transform how we think about food and farming.
