Grow Your Own Free Gardening Class April 8th
Free Gardening Class at Mostly Natives Nursery! Saturday, April 8th, 1-3 p.m. with local gardener, Michael Cavette. Grow Your Own: Vegetables, Flowers and Herbs of All Kinds. How to have a bountiful harvest from the garden without a lot of chemicals. This class focuses on the soil preparation, plant care, and disease and pest mitigation that go into a healthy, organic harvest. The class covers options and recipes for bed mix/potting soil, successful seed starting and transplanting strategies, watering and fertilization, and natural pest and disease control.
