I have been holding a Sign Clinic during our Annual Health and Fire Safety Day at the fire station for several years.  I really do believe in it and am working on getting you to believe too.
I know no one wants to call 911 to have the fire department respond to their home but sometimes you just have to.  It makes sense that we find your home as fast as possible!  It is often night time which makes it very hard to find our way around on the dirt roads on the Mesa, even if we know the areas well. Many of us have had difficulties in finding addresses either because there is no number at the entrance to a house or there is no street sign.  Minutes really count if you are having a medical emergency! The Fire Department is committed to encouraging everyone to have a sign!  To that end, I hold this clinic at Fire Safety Day where we provide everything you would need to make your very own, unique address sign.  I will lead you and help you through it!  Come, please, and make it fun, pretty, etc.
Bring your family and friends to the event on Sunday, October 26th from 11:00 to 3:00.  Lots of fun activities for the whole family including fire engine rides, fire extinguisher training and service, and Smokey Bear.
