Instrument Petting Zoo in the commons

Date:
Saturday, August 25, 2012 - 10:00am to 4:00pm
Event Description:

Come one, come all to play many kinds of musical instruments you may have never tried before. Children, middles, elders, all levels. Free mini-lessons. Instrument Zookeeper, Joyce Kouffman, will happily jam with you. Beautiful baby djimbe drums to play on. (The drums are small and can be played by everyone, not only real babies.) No musical skills required. Pros also welcome. Or just listen to the sounds of the Commons and enjoy the sun with music wafting out of the Little Yellow House! If you can't come this weekend, mark your calendar for Sunday, Sept. 16 and Sept. 23 when Joyce will hold a grand opening of an exciting new West Marin offering! Donations always welcome to help cover rent.
