Intro to Mindfulness Meditation with Debbie Daly

Tuesdays & Thursdays 8-9am

This 8-class course introduces simple mindfulness techniques to reduce stress, improve well-being, and soften the heart. The group will meet twice a week to explore seated meditation, relaxation techniques and heart-centered practices. Each session will include discussion of the techniques and their benefits, 30 minutes of seated meditation, plus readings and dialogue.

Students will be encouraged to practice at home throughout the week. The course is suitable for total beginners as well as experienced practitioners who wish to re-establish a regular meditation practice. Bolsters, blankets and chairs will be available, or you may use your own meditation cushion/seating.

Debbie Daly has been teaching yoga and meditation for 14 years with an emphasis on yin yoga and mindfulness practice. She has extensive studies with Paul Grilley and is a certified yoga teacher at the 500-hour level.
