KWMR's 5th Annual Eat My Heart Out Supper Club

Date:
Saturday, April 28, 2018 - 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Location:
Event Description:

KWMR presents the 5th Annual "Eat My Heart Out" Supper Club at the iconic Peace Barn in Bolinas, on Saturday, April 28th. This unique culinary event pairs five storytellers with a locally sourced, five-course dinner created by Chef Matt Elias of “The Bodega”, whose menu will be inspired by the themes of the stories told.

KWMR is honored to present Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe nominated actor, David Strathairn, as our premier storyteller this year. Early in his career, Mr. Strathairn garnered acclaim for his work in the films of director John Sayles, and in 2006 was nominated for the Oscar for his leading role in “Good Night and Good Luck.” Mr. Strathairn, along with fellow storytellers Mark Buell, Vivien Straus, Richard Dillman, and Alyssa Tanner, will present a tale to whet the palate for the dish to come, inspiring both the taste buds and the imagination! This benefit for KWMR is produced by transmedia storyteller and actor, Eugene Ashton-Gonzalez.  Tickets at www.kwmr.org.
