Date:
Saturday, September 17, 2016 - 11:15am
Location:
Event Description:
During this one day workshop we will explore contact improvisation and embodied mindfulness practices in the beautiful Pt Reyes landscape as well as in the studio. Whether you are brand new to C.I. or mindfulness practices or a long time practitioner, engaged presence and embodied action are available to us all. We will draw on meditation, Body Mind Centering (tm), Authentic Movement, spontaneous composition and the natural landscape as we move in and out of solo and partner dancing.

Alicia Grayson (www.tumblebones.com) and Krista DeNio (www.kristadenio.com) are thrilled to be offering this workshop together. They each have decades dancing, teaching and practicing CI and mindfulness. They love dancing and teaching together and are passionate about the material they are offering.
