Let's Talk Masculinity
Let's Talk will be exploring the American definition of Masculinity and how the concept of "be a man" has resulted in the rejection of traits we've feminized like caring, compassion, and empathy. The result is a lot of anger which comes from the repression of these qualities...leaving many to feel alone, disconnected and like outcasts, resulting in acting out and aggressive behavior. Is our narrow definition of masculinity harming boys, men and society at large? Do you feel this gender identity has become increasingly complex and confusing?
