Forever Changed—How Summer Programs and Insight Mentoring Challenge Adolescents and Transform Lives
Reading & booksigning

Tickets: Free event

Join Summer Search founder Linda Mornell for a special evening where she will discuss and sign her new book. In 1990, with no experience in the nonprofit sector, Marin psychiatric nurse Mornell started Summer Search, a program committed to creating opportunities for adolescents from all economic backgrounds to work and live together in summer experiential education programs. Mornell persuasively argues that such programs can aid adolescents in finding their own voices and embarking on a path of success. Her book includes compelling stories of some of those youths. Summer Search graduates will be present at the reading.

About Linda Mornell: The author Linda Mornell has lived and raised her family in Bolinas for the past 45 years and credits West Marin for fostering the creativity and time to think outside the box and live an extraordinary life of service to others.
