"Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change" - Session 4

Date:
Friday, June 3, 2016 - 1:00pm
Event Description:
By Pema Chödrön
A Book Study in Five Sessions
Led by interfaith minister Elizabeth River Tickets: $85 for five sessions paid in advance or $20 per session

Through the clean, clear writing of American Buddhist nun Pema Chödrön, we will examine our fearful clinging to old patterns and habits that keep us small and separated from life, and learn to open ourselves to a larger way of being. As Pema says: we use our everyday experience to “wake up, perk up, lighten up, and be more loving and conscious of other beings.” We will expand our ability to “live beautifully” by sharing our stories, practicing reverent listening, writing, and meditating together. Allow Pema’s uncomplicated teaching to open your heart and mind and bring you more peace! Point Reyes Books offers 10% off this book to participants. Presented by Point Reyes Books and Black Mountain Circle. We ask that you commit to at least three sessions. To register, contact Elizabeth River at lizebiz@gmail.com before the first class.
