Consistently working with found or excess materials for construction, Madeline Nieto Hope continues her practice of using re-purposed and reclaimed re-salvaged materials that are processed for art construction in this exhibition. Madeline’s eco-literacy has continued to evolve through the wide-ranging construction processes that are revealed in her art practice.

“Residencia en la Tierra” Ten artists, Gisela Alvarado, Ariana Aparicio, Mario Garcia, Imelda Macias, Agustina Martinez, Maria Mercado,  Maricela Mora, Rubén Rubledo, Martina Roque, and Juanita Romo, present work that reveals a deep resonance with the natural world. The theme shows itself through their work on local ranches, as well as through the traditions they carry from their home country and continue here in the north.
