Event Description:

FREE event. Enjoy a cup of warm soup and learn about Hydraulic
Fracturing, or Fracking.

If you have been reading about Fracking in the news lately, you may
be aware of some of the consequences of this destructive
technology which is used for natural gas extraction. From water and air
toxicity to human and animal health hazards, Fracking is being debated as
either a key to energy independence or as a menace to land, air and water.

What do to? Come to our event and learn with us about fracking.

5:30pm - 6:00pm - Soup & conversation
6:00pm - 7:30pm - Speakers, slideshow, Q&A

Rose Braz, from The Center for Biological Diversity, and Kristin Lynch, from
Food & Water Watch, will present an overview on fracking, how it will impact
CA, and what we can do about it.

Please pass this info along to anyone you think might be interested in
attending, and we hope to see you there.
