A Benefit for West Marin Review Tickets: $10

Writer Mark Doty, winner of the National Book Award for Fire to Fire: New and Selected Poems, will give a very special reading of his work to benefit the West Marin Review, a literary and arts journal published by Point Reyes Books and friends and neighbors. Doty is the author of three memoirs and twelve books of poetry. His nonfiction includes Dog Years, a 2007 New York Times bestseller.

About Mark Doty: Mark Doty is the author of three memoirs and twelve books of poetry, most recently Fire to Fire: New and Selected Poems (HarperCollins, 2008), which received the National Book Award; School of the Arts (2005); Source (2002); and Sweet Machine (1998). He is a professor at Rutgers University.

About West Marin Review: Founded in 2006, West Marin Review published its first volume in 2008. The literary and arts journal is a collaborative effort by a dedicated team of volunteers. Local artists, writers, poets, and community members serve as reviewers for each issue. The Review received a design award from The New York Book Show in 2010.
