HOW
• Purchases must be made in person - no pre-sales, no early-birds
We're aware that many of you live far away and won't be able to come to this benefit sale in person. Logisitics prevent us from putting this sale online, so if you can't make it, we suggest you try to arrange for someone to come to the sale to act in your behalf. We can answer your questions, but cannot hold any of the phtographs. First come, first served.

• No shipping - You or your proxy takes the artwork with you.
The framed pieces include glass and are fragile. We will provide plastic bags to protect surface, but recommend you have blankets or something to cushion the larger pieces for your auto transport.

• All sales are final.

WHY
Too many good photos, in perfect condition, are in storage, unseen and unavailable in my studio. Managing, thinking about them, finding space for them has become a block to my creativity. They need new homes, to be seen, to be enjoyed! At my age, it's a sin to not get these out into the world.

A Creative Solution:
Giving back to the community
So, why not sell these photographs at discount prices - then donate a major portion of the proceeds to two essential community organizations? At the same time, I could make some room for my new creative efforts. Give back to my community and invite my friends and collectors to help. Win-win!

Collaboration
Amanda Eichstaedt, Executive Director/Station Manager for KWMR, brainstormed with me. Together, we came up with the plans for a collaborative effort. We invited WMSS, West Marin Senior Services to join with us in this joint fundraiser and they graciously agreed. Here's the online .pdf version of their collaborative mailer about our sale. Check it out, there are some great photos included.

Notes about & links to KWMR & WMSS
KWMR, our listener-supported community radio station is where I tune when weather, fire or earthquakes hit our coastal area and I need to know what to do, or what roads are open... vital information that can be a life-safer. It helps me feel more secure and I am grateful for all they do. Issues that affect our local community are aired and discussed in an open way that is not possible on a commercial-based radio station. We are indebted to their unwavering service to our community.

WMSS, led by Executive Director Skip Schwartz, is incredibly helpful to the seniors of the coastal communities here. I've seen first hand what West Marin Senior Services has done to support my many friends who want to maintain a life of quality & dignity ... to stay in their own homes, their cherished neighborhoods and village during the difficult times of the latter years of life.  My wife Jean and I, as we near our 70s, are proud to support this organization to help them continue their good work.
