Master Gardener Seminar: Alliums: Onions and Garlic and Leeks, Oh My!
Unraveling the mystery of growing garlic and onions! Shop in a market and you may find one or two kinds of garlic. Onion varieties are frequently just as limited. But if you grow your own alliums you open the door to new flavors, shapes, colors and culinary uses of these savory vegetables. Come to the Point Reyes Library, Saturday, September 29th from 10:30-12:00 pm. We'll discuss the best cultural practices for growing these cool season gems in your garden and how keep them for months.
