Mimi Robinson

Date:
Saturday, July 11, 2015 - 7:00pm
Event Description:
Local Color
Booksigning & Talk Tickets: Free event

Artist, designer, and educator Mimi Robinson began creating color palettes inspired by place for her own paintings, then collected the palettes in Local Color. She self-published a version of the book which we loved selling at the bookstore, especially since one of the color palettes featured was West Marin. Now Princeton Architectural Press has just released this new edition of Local Color which is even better!

About Mimi Robinson: Artist, designer, and educator Mimi Robinson began creating color palettes inspired by place for her own paintings.  A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Robinson has worked extensively in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and The Caribbean. She partners with artisan communities to promote and honor the use of traditional skills and local materials to build small businesses that incorporate their artistic legacies. www.localcolorcollective.com
