Miwok Music Workshop
MIWOK MUSIC WORKSHOP
This workshop brings to life the spirit of the Miwok culture through community song and chant. Participants will learn to sing songs in Miwok language. Sky Road Webb is a Tomales Bay Miwok storyteller who leads Coast Miwok songs and prayers at celebrations throughout Northern California, including at Kule Loklo in the Point Reyes National Seashore, and he was featured in the 2014 Mount Tamalpais documentary The Invisible Peak. Sky's presentation is hosted by Sound Orchard creative director Tim Weed. Financial assistance scholarships available. More information is at soundorchard.org.
