MMWD Habitat Restoration: Broom Be Gone

Date:
Saturday, May 19, 2018 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
Location:
Event Description:

Spend an invigorating morning along Bon Tempe’s lakeshore, home to basking turtles, curious egrets, and glorious oaks. Staff and volunteers have been working to restore this area by removing invasive species, hastening the decay of downed trees and planting natives. Help us improve this habitat by removing invasive French broom from oak woodlands.  Meet at the Lake Lagunitas Parking Lot.

Family friendly. Minors under the age of 16 must have a guardian present. Those ages 16-18 must have permission from a guardian.
