July 5th - In the Mood for Love (2000) - longing and unrequited love
Wong Kar Wai’s lush story of unrequited love that looks as gorgeous as its songs sound. Set in Hong Kong, 1962, two neighbors ( the fantastic Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung) form a strong bond after both suspect extramarital activities of their spouses. They have everything in common from noodle shops to martial arts. This beautifully shot film is ranked #2 in BBC's "100 Greatest Films of The 21st Century" list.

July 12th - Dirty Dancing (1987) - schmaltzy, sexy, summer fun
Baby Houseman (Jennifer Grey) is one listless summer away from the Peace Corps. Hoping to enjoy her youth while it lasts, she's disappointed when her summer plans deposit her at a sleepy resort in the Catskills with her parents until she falls in love with the camp's dance instructor, Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze)

July 19th - Summer Hours (2008) - memories of summer’s past
In this love letter to French cinema, three siblings must decide what to do with the country estate and objects they’ve inherited from their mother. From this simple story Director, Olivier Assayas creates a nuanced drama about family and the material of globalized modern living.

July 26th - Kung-fu Hustle (2004) - rowdy fun action comedy
When the hapless Sing (Stephen Chow) and his dim-witted pal, Bone (Feng Xiaogang), try to scam the residents of Pig Sty Alley into thinking they're members of the dreaded Axe Gang, the real gangsters descend on this Shanghai slum to restore their fearsome reputation. This dreamy Chinese Martial arts action comedy—gives chaos a good name.
