The Music from Marin Summer Festival returns to the Dance Palace for two Sunday performances:  June 11 and 25, all at 7:00pm.

The Music from Marin Summer Festival brings 14 FREE chamber music and chamber operas to communities throughout Marin and returns to the Dance Palace for the fourth year in a row.  Paul Smith, Music Director and pianist, continues his ongoing series devoted to chamber arrangements of piano concertos and symphonies by major composers.

Two for Two Pianos and Percussion

The Marin County based Not Mr. & Mrs. Smith Piano Duo (Jean Alexis Smith and Paul Smith) open the program with Michael Daugherty’s paean to the great tradition of the American cocktail piano followed by the London based Szervanszky/Cavaye Piano-duo (Valeria Szervanszky and Ronald Cavaye) performing Bartok’s stunning masterpiece.
