National Trails Day: Epic Kent Trail on Alpine Lake

Join us as we perform maintenance on Kent Trail on the sunny shores of Alpine Lake. We will be doing much needed storm repair which includes a new retaining wall, tread improvements and some trail realignment. Invasive foxglove patches to also be eradicated.

Please park at the end of Bon Tempe Dam Road – you will receive your parking pass when you drive past the Sky Oaks Headquarters kiosk. Arrive by 9am for breakfast snacks, sign-in, and project assignments. All volunteers receive a free t-shirt and enjoy a BBQ lunch at 1:00. Arrive at the work site in style via watercraft or get a boat ride back after your morning of service.

Trail events are suitable for ages 13 and up. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All those under 18 must bring a signed MMWD permission form. Limit 50 volunteers.
