Event Description:

Once a month, on the first Sunday, KWMR - Community Radio for West Marin offers up "Sunday Celebration of Gospel," a morning program of old school African American gospel music.

Hosted 9am to noon by local radio programmer Marc Matheson, the show features gospel saints like Mahalia Jackson, Aretha Franklin, the Misssissippi Mass Choir, the Abyssinian Baptist Church Choir, our own Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, and many, many more.

Tune in live on local FM dials at 90.5, 89.9, and 92.3, and online at www.kwmr.org. Like other local programming, "Sunday Celebration of Gospel" is archived on the KWMR website, at https://kwmr.org/archives. There's even a Facebook page, at https://www.facebook.com/sundaycelebration/.

Thank you for listening to and supporting KWMR, your local community radio station!
