Orland Bishop in conversation with Jaune Evans

Date:
Saturday, April 18, 2015 - 10:00am
Location:
Event Description:
A Day-long Retreat on Spirit, Love, and Money. Tickets: $40 (includes Friday night conversation)

Orland Bishop leads a day-long workshop—a deepening of the conversation begun on Friday, April 17—that will move into an experiential exploration of the spiritual economy by asking important questions:

  • What are the exchanges that bring value to our shared lives and our communities?
  • What is the legacy that we’ve all inherited?
  • How do we integrate our ancestors into our lives, nature, and the cosmos?
  • What are the ways in which our connections to the earth, sky, and water can contribute to a spiritual economy?
  • What is the greater story to which we can make offerings as we live our lives in community?

Explore these queries and others from the standpoint of the practical resources in daily life.
Co-presented by Point Reyes Books, Black Mountain Circle, and The New School at Commonweal.
