PARACHUTE DAY
Hello West Marin! Saturday November 7th is Parachute Day at Love Field in Point Reyes. Parachute Day is a family-friendly, photography-friendly event encouraging everyone to get together and celebrate our community and enjoy parachutes!
The idea for this party birthed from a photography shoot of taking portraits of friends underneath flowing parachutes. Anyone is welcome to come with a camera and afterwards submit photos for a local photo album. There will be a massive parachute driftwood structure to picnic under, sound system, BYO BBQ and DJs spinning vinyl for your old school entertainment as well as... more parachutes!
There will be some food and popcorn and refreshments ~ ~ feel free to contribute to the potluck!
Bring blankets and a frisbee or whatever fun for the field.

And be ready to Dance ~ ~ DJ Set by KWMR's DJ Barbarella and super-secret accomplice(s)
This event was also inspired by the community of West Marin. There are so many amazing people here: artists, musicians and small business owners and new families that contribute so much. For so many amazing people there are so few affordable places to live. This event is aiming to bring us together and connect us when some of us really need it the most.
